Automation: Increased automation at abattoirs due to pandemic

COVID-19 has spurred the adoption of automation at meat processing facilities in Canada, the United States and Brazil following workforce outbreaks. Those countries had previously implemented automation technologies at a much slower rate than their counterparts in northern Europe or Japan, noted an in-depth analysis by Reuters.
