What you don’t know won’t hurt you?
Another saying that has been around forever. It used to seem about right to me but now, it just seems wrong. Amongst the many learnings the COVID-19 reality that we are all living is understanding that knowledge on a broader range of topics is a necessity.
Certainly we have been “saved” to some extent by a ridiculously speedy vaccine development resulting from science advancements in genetics and virology. But it is time for all people to up their game. I recently had a great tip pointing me to a free introductory course on virology offered online by Columbia University. After watching the first two lectures, I recommend it to you. Check it out at the link below and feel free to let me know what you think!
Remember, what you don’t know may kill you!
