Environment & climate change: Carbon from corn to table
Demand for food with a smaller environmental footprint has led to the launch of Gro Network. It will track and score the carbon footprint of grain from the field to meat on the grocery store shelf, which it says will allow producers of more sustainable products to create a premium meat offering for consumers.
